The Burkert Type 5282 is a very powerful servo-assisted solenoid valve featuring an isolated diaphragm type rotating armature pilot valve. This valve structure is more suitable for slightly polluted media than plunger solenoid valves, enabling superior performance in process control applications.
The 5282 model is a servo diaphragm solenoid valve that requires a minimum pressure difference to ensure proper functioning. Various membrane materials and working methods can be selected based on different application requirements.
The standard brass valve body meets all European drinking water standards. Alternative valve body materials include stainless steel and gray cast iron. The electromagnetic coil is encapsulated in highly chemical-resistant epoxy resin.
The normally open and normally closed functions of the two position three-way pilot valve can be easily switched by simply rotating it 180 degrees on the main valve seat.
When paired with DIN EN 175301-803 Type A plug, the stainless steel casing meets NEMA 4X requirements, ensuring reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.
